Sheri Grove	Long Beach State Bachelor of Science, Marketing Loyola Marymount University Masters, Education Board Member since 2004. Married to Brent Grove and they have two children at Legacy. The Grove's are one of the founding families of Legacy.
Nancy Pope	Azusa Pacific University Bachelor of Science, Marketing Board Member since 2005. Married to Brian Pope and they have two children at Legacy. The Pope's are one of the founding families of Legacy.
Mike Jackson	Whitworth University Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education Gonzaga University Masters, Administration and Curriculum Board Member since 2008. Married to Jenny Jackson and they have two children, one attends Legacy.

Advisors:

Roberta Meier: As one of the founders and the Director of the Desert Springs Preschool & Kindergarten at Desert Springs Bible Church for 20 years, Roberta's wisdom and encouragement have been invaluable.

Kim Roberts: Kim used to teach Junior High Math and has been an advisor to the Legacy Board since it's inception in 2003. We appreciate the knowledge she brings from the classroom, and the helps she's given us at our annual events.

Grammar School Principal (over grades K-6th)

Mr. Brian McKinley

Mr. McKinley is serving his first year at Legacy Classical Christian Academy. On receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona, he assisted Jack Beckman in starting Cornerstone Christian Academy in 1998. In 1999 he moved out of an administrative role and into the classroom as Cornerstone's Latin teacher. From 2001 - 2004, Mr. McKinley taught Latin and Logic, served as assistant athletic director, and coached volleyball and basketball at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy. In July of 2004, Mr. McKinley returned to Cornerstone to serve as the Assistant Headmaster. In 2008 he accepted the position of Grammar School Principal at Legacy Classical Christian Academy. Along with his administrative duties, Mr. McKinley will teach Latin and 5th grade mathematics. He and his wife Laurel have two children attending Legacy. The McKinley's attend Emmanuel Covenant Church.

Mrs. Pam Engel, Kindergarten Teacher (4 days):

Pam Engel Pam Engle, former kindergarten teacher at Desert Springs Christian Preschool and Kindergarten for 9 years. Pam joined Legacy in 2007 as a teacher assistant and is the lead kindergarten teacher for the 2008/09 school year. She is married with 2 grown children.

Mrs. Shelah Bowers, Kindergarten Teacher (1 day):

Shelah Bowers Mrs. Bowers joined Legacy in 2005 as our first teacher! She taught both 1st and 2nd grade at Legacy and rejoins our staff as a part-time Kindergarten Teacher assisting Pam Engle for the 2008/09 school year.

Mrs. Margo Womack, 3rd Grade:

Margo Womack Mrs. Womack is certified by the Association of Christian Schools International and has taught at Classical Christian schools in Dallas, Texas, and Phoenix. She graduated with a degree in Developmental Psychology from Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon. She is married and has children in the 7th and 8th grades at Veritas Preparatory Academy.

Mrs. Diana Hayes, Teachers Assistant:

Diana Hayes Mrs. Hayes graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She homeschooled one of her daughters for six years, and it was then that she became familiar with (and passionate about!) classical education. She also taught second grade at Trinity Classical & Christian Academy in Glendale, Arizona. She is married and has two grown children.
