About Legacy
Legacy was founded in 2003 by a group of families in the Northeast Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Our goal is to provide children with an outstanding classical education taught through a Christian worldview, like that provided to the "great thinkers" of our Western civilization. We are committed to raising courageous, discerning, and articulate young men and women who will impact culture for the glory of Jesus Christ. Please visit our Resources page on this website to learn more about our time-honored teaching method that follows the Trivium.
Legacy will be adding both kindergarten (half day) and 5th grade for the 2008/2009 school year. Each year we will add at least one grade until Legacy is a full K-12 school.
Special Announcements:
First, Legacy is excited to announce the hiring of Mr. Brian McKinley as the Grammar School Principal. Mr. McKinley has been with a classical Christian school in Tucson for 7 years. His history with classical Christian education is explained on our website under the Staff section.
Second, we are thrilled to announce that we are moving into a new facility in August. The school building is only 4 years old and will be able to accommodate our growth for the next four years. The building is located on the campus of the Bell Road Assembly of God Church at 3427 E. Bell Road in NE Phoenix.
